I love Christmas. And while I know that not everyone celebrates Christmas, the spirit of giving and togetherness is one that I cherish. In anticipation of the holiday season, I will be donating 10% of all profits from October-December 2023 to @transsanta. Profits from individual fundraising items like the Grow Abortion Power woven blanket, will still go to their designated recipients.
@TransSanta has been one of my favorite organizations to donate to for a while now. As much as I love Christmas, I know that it can also be an incredibly difficult season for those with broken family relationships and folks experiencing financial hardship. Trans youth, especially black and brown trans youth, are often affected by both issues. @TransSanta accepts letters and wishlists from trans youth around the United States and shares them anonymously for donors, or as they refer to them: Santas, to fulfill. Trans youth deserve the world and this is just one way to show them the love and support they absolutely deserve.
The money set aside from my profits this holiday season will be donated to the @TransSanta fund so that @TransSanta leaders and volunteers can distribute the funds to trans youth who've sent in their wishlists.
