Then 22-year-old Alaa Salah became known as the "Kandake of the Sudanese Revolution" when a photo, taken by Lana Haroun, of Salah leading a protest chant in front of a government building went viral. The image became a symbol of their revolution.

During the protest, Salah quoted a poem by Sudanese poet, Azhari Mohamed Ali: “But Islam is innocent. Islam tells us to speak up and fight against tyrants … the bullet doesn’t kill. What kills is the silence of the people.”

This matte vinyl sticker is UV-protected and weatherproof, so your sticker will stay put.
